Choices, choices, choices… Where to begin?
The internet is awash with Solid fuel stoves, and each one comes with it’s own merits and flaws. The technical requirements for each one differs as does it’s capacity to heat a given space.
Single fuel? Multi-fuel? Closed appliance? Open appliance? Single wall flue? Double wall flue? What type of hearth is required? Yup, there’s a lot of technical considerations and frankly they can be a little boring.
Here at Knutsford & Nantwich Stoves we don’t have a showroom full of appliances, we don’t hold stock and therefore we don’t have huge overheads that we pass on to you. Give us a call, and let us talk you through the options available for your space. Then you can go and Google different stoves until you find the one that suits your style and budget.
We have good trade discounts so we are competitive with most online retailers. You choose the Stove (with a bit of technical guidance from us!) and let us see if we can beat their price. Then, get it delivered to you or to us – whichever suits you best. We will provide everything else required to complete a safe installation and register your stove with HETAS and your local building control authority.
If you have an existing fireplace and it’s just a simple installation, we can do that. If you have a chimney breast but no hole, don’t worry, we can do that too. Existing hole too big / small? Yep, we can sort that out as well. In fact, even if you don’t have a chimney at all – we can still sort you out with the fireplace of your dreams.
We can do all the different aspects of the building work so you don’t have to manage the bricklayer, the plasterer, the tiler, the stove fitter and the joiner. This is what we do. We really enjoy our work, and that shows in the quality of our finished installations.
